Privacy Policy

Taiyary is a UPSC preparation platform that offers Mains answer evaluation, Prelims previous year question practice, and daily current affairs. This policy explains what data we collect when you use Taiyary and how we handle it. If you have any questions, email us at sumit@taiyaryai.com.

• Account details: your name and email address, and the basic profile information Google shares when you sign in with Google.
• Preparation profile: details you add during onboarding, such as your target exam year and optional preferences, so we can tailor practice.
• Your answers and uploads: the Mains answers, handwritten answer images, and practice attempts you submit for evaluation.
• Usage data: how you interact with the product, for example questions attempted, scores, and bookmarks, so we can show your progress.

• To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
• To evaluate your Mains answers, score practice attempts, and show your performance over time.
• To personalise current affairs and question recommendations to the UPSC syllabus.
• To improve the product, fix issues, and understand which features help aspirants most.
• To contact you about important updates, and, if you opt in, product news.

We use trusted third parties to run Taiyary. They only receive the data needed to do their job:

• Supabase for authentication, database, and storage of your account and submissions.
• Google Sign-In when you choose to log in with your Google account.
• AI evaluation providers to read and score the answers you submit. Your answers are sent only to generate feedback for you.

We keep your account data and submissions for as long as your account is active so you can track your progress. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it to meet legal obligations.

You can access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request access or deletion, email sumit@taiyaryai.com from the address linked to your account and we will respond as quickly as we can.

We use industry standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we also ask you to keep your login credentials private.

Taiyary is intended for exam aspirants and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
